he project is to have wastewater conveyed and treated at Suffolk County Sewer District # 28, St. James Fairfield CP 8503. The service area currently does have a dry sewer line. The project boundaries consist of parcels along Lake Avenue in Smithtown generally from North Country Road on the north to Woodlawn Avenue in the south. This project is to be an extension to Sewer District #28 and will share in the costs of the new treatment plant and be responsible for the connecting sewer. As of April 10, 2026, this project is currently in Suffolk County's FY 2026-2028 CIP. Information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
