Remodeling and renovation of a museum in Collinsville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum; and for the remodel of a museum.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The scope of work provides for replacing the HVAC and control systems, along with improvements to the fire safety and security. The work also includes removing the existing temperature control system, installing a new DDC temperature control system, replacing the existing chiller, chilled water pumps, hot water pumps, airhandling units and modifying duct work to provide suitable indoor air quality. The work also includes replacing electrical panels, retrofitting light fixtures, adding outlets in selected areas, and providing new central battery equipment for emergency lighting. Bid security must be submitted with each bid equal to 10% of the base bid and must be in the form of a CDB bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or bank draft. COST RANGE under $8,000,000.00. CDBs Rights. When, in its opinion, it is in the best interest of the State, CDB reserves the right to: A. Accept any bid B. Reject any or all bids C. Waive technical deficiencies and irregularities D. Allow bidder to remedy technical deficiencies or irregularities within a stated time E. Rescind any notice of award if CDB determines the notice of award was issued in error F. Rescind any notice of award when it is in the best interest of the State G. Rebid any contract
