***As of October 17 ,2019 project has been awarded with the amount of 115,722.50. The work to be performed under this Contract generally consists of the internal repair of designated sections of the Authority's sanitary sewage collection/conveyance system located within Montgomery Township. Specifically, this project includes the relining of approximately 3,650 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe by cured-in-place (CIPP) inversion lining, including the reinstatement of approximately 19 sanitary sewer lateral connections. The work will occur in Township roadways and Authority easement areas. The Contractor will be responsible for maintenance and control of traffic while working in the roadway. In addition, the project includes alternate/add-on items that will be considered by the Authority during review of bid proposals. The alternate/add-on items include an additional relining of 300 L.F. of 8-inch sanitary sewer main by cured-in-place (CIPP) inversion lining, reinstatement of (1) one lateral, and the complete lining of approximately 20 manholes. The Authority reserves the right, at their discretion, to select any/all, or combination of, the potential alternate/add-on items for the purpose of awarding this Contract for this project. Questions must be submitted on or before 9/05/2019 4:00 PM. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft or bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Authority.
