The City is interested in acquiring tree maintenance services on an as-needed and on-call basis. The length of Contract shall be three (3) years, expiring on December 31, 2022. Services for this RFP should include executing woody vegetation management obligations of the City in rights-of-way, parks, greenways, and other City owned properties. An as-needed and on-call contract is necessary for this service as woody vegetation management requires great flexibility in work scheduling due to the dynamic nature of trees and weather resulting in the constant shifting and updating of work schedules and priorities to which the Vendor must adhere. Though contracts are as-needed and on-call, the volume of work to be completed requires Vendor to work daily to meet the work schedule and priority requirements. Because multiple City Agencies may be interested in acquiring the same services, the Vendor(s) should indicate their willingness to provide said services to other City agencies under the same terms and conditions established by this RFP and the resulting contract.
