The anticipated start date is in Quarter 1 of 2020. This project involves the construction of approximately:
- 2,600 L.F. of 18-inch PVC gravity sanitary sewer by open cut
- 1,900 L.F. of 21-inch PVC gravity sanitary sewer by open cut
- 1,160 L.F. of 24-inch PVC gravity sanitary sewer by open cut
- 550 L.F. of 30-inch PVC gravity sanitary sewer by open cut
- 500 L.F. of 24-inch PVC gravity sanitary sewer in 42" steel casing by other than open cut
- 14 5-foot diameter polymer concrete manholes (up to 6-foot depth)
- 85 V.F. of additional depth on 6-foot diameter polymer concrete manholes
- 1 8-foot diameter polymer concrete manhole (up to 6-foot depth)
- 670 S.Y. of 8" thick gabion mattress with 3'x3' anchors The successful Bidder may be required to submit written evidence, such as financial data, references, present commitments and available equipment, and will submit such data within five days of Owner written request.
No bid may be changed, amended or modified by telegram or otherwise after the above time and date. A bid may be, however, withdrawn and resubmitted any time prior to the time set for receipt of bids.
Bid security in the form of Cashiers Check, Bid Bond or other negotiable instrument in the amount of 5% of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute bonds and insurance as outlined in the specifications and Instructions to Bidders. Questions by e-mail will be prioritized over those received by other means. Only responses issued via Addenda are binding.The City of Haslet is the sole source contact regarding this Proposal. Any contact with representatives of the Trinity River Authority and the City of Fort Worth is prohibited. Failure to comply with this prohibition will result in your Proposal being deemed unresponsive.In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, the Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after date on which bids are opened.
