Water Mitigation Regional Waste water Plant. These specifications shall cover the water mitigation of the interior rooms of the Regional WWTP Administrative Building which were damaged by Category 3 water.The removal of the contaminated materials by the Bidding Contractor shall include demolition of wall paneling and drywall including any trim items that needs to be removed in order to facilitate the demolition.The attached plan sheet indicates those walls which need to be demolished from 4'-0" above the existing floor elevation leaving the interior wall structures and those that are either brick or concrete.All wood paneling shall be removed. Items to be included for demolitionare listed below but not limited to: Wall Panelingand/or Drywall Crown Molding ,Base Boards, Doors including Door Jamb and Casings, Closet doors, Door Trim, Window Trim, Floor Trim, Ceiling Tiles. These items shall be removed onlyand will be repaired or replaced in the Remodeling of the Regional WWTP Administrative Building.Items shall be stored in the designated areas as indicated on the plan sheet. The Bidding Contractor shall treat all walls and floors exposed after the demolition with an Anti-Microbial Agent. Once the Asbestos Abatement has been completed the Bidding Contractor shall treat the exposed concrete floor areas and concrete/brick walls with an Anti-Microbial Agent.When the demolition of the contaminated area is complete the Bidding Contractor shall ensure that all exposed wall cavities are completely dry.The entire floor area of the Regional WWTP Administrative Building is approximately 11,522 square feet. The Bidding Contractor is responsible for confirming the total square feet of required water mitigation floor area.The Bidding contractor shall supply at least four (4) negative air exhaust fans for the entire duration of the demolition process. The fans shall be provided with the proper filters. No monitoring of the negative air exhaust fan shall be required.
