The description and location of the project is as follows: For the improvement of a certain section of STATE HIGHWAY in CENTRE COUNTY, LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, STATE ROUTE 1002, SECTION A14. The project being situated as follows: On State Route 1002 from Segment 0270/ Offset 0457 to Segment 0270/ Offset 2042 near Romola. For the removal of the existing Two-Span Steel I-Beam Bridge and construction of its replacement a Single Span Comp. Pre-Stressed Concrete PA Bulb-Tee Bridge. Approach work consists of Superpave asphalt mixture design for the base, binder and wearing courses, guide rail, 15" and 18" pipe, pavement markings, and miscellaneous construction for a construction length of approximately 1485 feet (0.28 miles) as indicated in the approved drawings.
