Each bid must include Bid Security, a certified check, bank check or bid bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the state of PA, in the amount of 10% of the total contract amount, including all add alternates, payable to Upper Makefield Township. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder with a corporate surety approved by Upper Makefield Township. Bidding will be public, utilize Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wage Rates established by the Commonwealth of PA Department of Labor and Industry and be received in four Prime Bids.
