Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saanichton, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project will replace the northbound left turn onto Keating Cross Road with a "flyover" overpass, eliminating the need to turn across busy highway traffic and reducing congestion. Other features of the project include: Widening of Keating Cross Road, Installation of new sidewalk on Keating Cross Road, Installation of bus-on-shoulder facilities that support future plans for bus rapid transit on the Pat Bay Highway and Realignment of the southbound on-ramp to Victoria. "The project will receive funding from the federal government under the canada-british columbia new building canada fund - provincial - territorial infrastructure componet - national and regional projects (NBCF-PTIC-NRP)"
