Site work for a water / sewer project in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of December 2,2019 Project has been awarded to SAK Construction LLC for the bid amount of $5,224,607.30. Procedures for submitting a Bid, claiming an error, withdrawing of Bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders. HRSD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities, or negotiate with the low bidder as described in the Instructions to Bidders CONTRACTOR registration in accordance with Title 2.2, Chapter 43 and Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia is required. The Project or Work consists of rehabilitating approximately 3,500 linear feet of 21-inch, 33- inch, and 54-inch diameter sanitary sewer. The sewer mains are within Jefferson Avenue and parallel to Terminal Avenue from 18th Street to 34th Street in Newport News. Mainline and siphon pipe rehabilitation consists of cured-in-place pipe liner installation. Manhole and siphon chamber rehabilitation consists of epoxy coating systems. Temporary sewage pumping around the project area and traffic control are necessary A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid
