Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Voluntown, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of November 19, 2019, the project is undergoing a slight redesign before it is officially awarded to the apparent low bidder. This federally funded contract requiring payment of Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with local, state, and federal requirements covers the following activities: Phase Three of the Voluntown Housing Authority project will include shingle roofing, where needed; community building expansion; ADA baths, lighting; accessible route from parking lot to HC units; enlargement of the parking area, reconfiguring of parking access roadways, and replacement of all existing walkways. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities, or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Owner. All bids will be considered valid for a period of 30 days. A satisfactory Bid Bond or Certified Check, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Bid Bond shall be made payable to the Voluntown Housing Authority and shall be properly executed by the Bidder. A 100% Performance, Labor and Material Bond is also required.
