Renovation of a municipal facility in Waukon, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a construction performance, payment, and maintenance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Said bonds to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City Council and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and the maintenance of said improvements in good repair from the time of acceptance of the improvements by the City for not less than two (2) years. The bidders security shall be in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount including all add alternates and shall be the Jurisdictions bidder's bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the Jurisdiction. No other type of bid security will be accepted. The City of Waukon reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
