**As of January 21, 2021, 2020 Project has been awarded. Award amount is $16,270,996.34.** The project limits are Michigan Avenue over the Buffalo River, from 100' south of bridge south approach to 80' north of bridge north approach and Ohio Street over the Buffalo River, from 100' south of bridge south approach to 190' north of bridge north approach. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Michigan Avenue Lift Bridge counterweight rope replacement, traffic signal replacement and warning gate replacement; as well as Ohio Street Lift Bridge rehabilitation including new roadway stringers and deck, sidewalk replacement, structural steel repairs; new electrical and mechanical systems; bridge painting; tender house roof repair; and rehabilitation of service elevators. The DBE goal for this project is: 5% There are no M/WBE goals for this project. The EEO Employment goals for this project are: 7.7% Minority Employment Goal 6.9% Women Employment Goal No questions or inquiries regarding this bid will be accepted within three (3) business days prior to the bid opening. The City of Buffalo will not be responsible for full or partial set of Contract Documents, including any Addenda obtained from any other source. Addenda will be emailed from Avalon Document Services to Bidders listed on the official Plan Holders List. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of all Addenda by securely stapling in place all addenda within the front or back covers of the proposal book.All Addenda so issued shall become part of the Contract Documents. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five (45) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Buffalo reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein. The work will be substantially completed 370 working days from Notice to Proceed.
