Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Brielle, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Work of the project shall include mobilization, demolition and removal of existing elevated tank foundation and site piping, construction of new elevated tank foundation, construction of new 300,000-gallon elevated water storage tank, installation of new site piping, installation of new building gutter system and dry well, site restorations, demobilization, and miscellaneous associated tasks. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a cashiers check, certified check or bid bond, made payable to Borough of Brielle, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an acceptable surety company, agreeing to furnish the required Performance (100%), Payment (100%) and Maintenance Bonds upon award of this Contract. All surety bonds in connection with the advertisement and award of this Contract must be written by a surety company whose qualification and authority to issue bonds in New Jersey has been certified by the New Jersey Commissioner of Insurance pursuant to the provisions of NJSA 17:17-1 et seq. The surety company shall also be listed under OMB Circular 570 pursuant to NJAC 7:22-3.17(g). The Project shall conform to the Local Public Contract Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq. and N.J.S.A. 40A:1- 23(b). In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 58: llB-26, N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(a)24 and 4.17(a)24, the contractor (subcontractor) shall comply with all of the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-9. The bid receipt date will be at least thirty (30) days after the advertisement date; addenda notices will be provided no less than seven (7) days, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted, prior to the bid receipt deadline. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with N.J.A.C. 7:22-9.1 et. seq. for the participation of small business enterprises owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDs). The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with the SED Utilization Plan developed by the Borough of Brielle for fulfilling SED requirements. The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such Bidder who, in the judgement of the Borough of Brielle makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
