Site work for a water / sewer project in Red Lake, Ontario. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Wastewater systems effluent regulation upgrades. The Municipality wishes to explore the preferred option (Chlorine Disinfection and Dechlorination) at the Red Lake Water Pollution Control Plant (RLWPCP) that will meet the Federal Wastewater Systems Effluent Regulation (WSER) with respect to Total Residual Chlorine (TRC). In addition, the Municipality has request that the detailed design includes the addition of a TP Removal facility (Aluminum), pH adjustment (Sodium carbon ate), a chemical building (with bay to house the sludge truck) and new standby power generator. TIMELINE: Plans complete. Project is on hold pending funding. Further update may be available spring 2026, or upon release of tender for construction.
