The base bid project generally consists of constructing a pre-engineered metal building containing 17 aircraft storage units in a nested "T" configuration with a larger end unit. Base bid building size is approximately 20,700 square feet. Each unit shall have bi-fold doors with pass doors or separate doors for the end unit. A concrete floor shall be included. The site work consists of approximately 3 acres of clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment, and approximately 57,600 square feet of asphalt pavement construction. The project will be bid with a bid add of an additional end unit and expanded site work to accommodate the added end unit. A second bid additive of installing a roof mounted solar panel array with connection to the utility grid is also included. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents.
