The City of Merriam, in cooperation with its Owner's Representative, CBC Real Estate Group, requests written proposals from qualified firms specializing in structured cabling for the Merriam Community Center. Provide a lump-sum (not-to-exceed) fee proposal including all cost for necessary labor, overhead, equipment, and testing. Provide a separate estimate of direct project expenses which will be reimbursable at cost. The overall goal of the Technology SOW is to provide the Owner with an end-to end telecommunications structured cabling system (SCS) that offers a cost effective system providing flexibility, a potential for growth (both physical and bandwidth considerations) and the capability of supporting the various communication systems required by the Using Services without disrupting the day-to-day activities of the existing customer base. The functional and technical requirements include a 20-year performance warranty from a reputable SCS manufacturer. This system shall include Horizontal (hardwired and wireless) pathways, spaces, cabling, and termination components Backbone pathways, spaces and cabling, and termination components Telecom rooms or spaces complete with supporting equipment for the SCS cabling of the facilities The SCS vendor will making connections for the following scopes which are included as part of this bid package; Audio visual Telecommunications Security Cameras Door hardware/Card Access. Faxed, telephoned, or emailed proposals will not be accepted. City of Merriam and CBC Real Estate Group reserve the right to waive to any minor irregularities or informalities and to reject any and all proposals.
