The City of Brandon desires to have energy assessments completed for 6 municipal buildings in order to mange an energy efficiency building program. TIMELINE: Owner has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to assist in determining a method for conducting the energy assessments to obtain budgetary costs. Energy Assessment Summary Report a) Identify energy, cost and GHG reduction for each action within each municipal building. b) The energy assessments will show an increased capacity for a facility or organization to identify and adopt energy efficiency solutions. c) The energy assessment is performed by an individual or organization with: I. A valid license as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect, and/or the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification; II. Experience in conducting energy assessments and retrofits; III. Knowledge of energy benchmarking and energy management systems; IV. Knowledge of energy management practices, including energy management planning, energy use, and building systems and technologies and existing building commissioning practices; and V. Project management skills required to conduct an energy assessment. 3. The energy assessment has a holistic approach to reviewing energy use. All respondents should include the following information in their response: 1. Overview of the proposed methodology and scope 2. Methodology used for reporting 3. Unit and level of measurement that can be captured for each criteria 4. Software required to view data 5. Budgetary costs for the solution 6. Timeline to complete assessment on six (6) buildings.
