Pursuant to HRS 103D-1002, Hawaii Products Preference, persons wishing to certify and qualify a product not currently listed on the Hawaii Product List, shall submit a Certification for Hawai'i Product Preference, Form SPO-038, to: cokpurchasing@kauai.gov no later than (September 16, 2019). Bidders are further notified of the requirements of Act 190, SLH 2011, SB 758, wherein the County of Kauaii is required to utilize the Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) to obtain proof of compliance with tax, registration, and labor requirements prior to the issuance of an award. The Director of Finance reserves the right to cancel this Invitation for Bid or to reject any or all bids in whole or in part if deemed to be in the best interest of the County. All prospective bidders shall have a Hawaii State Contractor License Type A OR B PRIOR to submittal of bids.
