Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work to be performed under these Special Provisions consists of developing the first phase of Meadows Park in Sacramento at 1840 North Breezy Meadow Drive in North Natomas. The improvements will consist of 11.2 acres, grading, drainage, erosion control, irrigation, landscaping, concrete walkways, site furnishing, tot lot playground, electrical, and utilities. For this publicly bid project either a General Engineering Contractor "A" that also holds a "C27" License, or a General Engineering Contractor "A" License with a qualified subcontractor "C27" Licensed. The "C27" contractor shall have previous park construction experience and shall be required to install the irrigation and landscaping for municipal projects. The "A" contractor is categorized as a general engineering contractor as stated in the Business and Professions Code (B&P) Section 7056 of Article 4 Classifications on the California Contractors State License Board website. Pre Bid Meeting : No Online Q&A: No Liquidated Damages: $1,000 per day Project Duration: 110 working days + 90 working days for plant establishment
