Site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a bridge / tunnel in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Design plans call for the addition of a bridge / tunnel.

The project is CN Rail's mainline entry and exit to and from the Prince Rupert Port Gateway. Scope of work includes rehabilitation of the existing single-track bridge; construction of a new double-track bridge across the Zanardi Rapids; and expansion of the causeway between Zanardi Bridge and Ridley Island. TIMELINE: Design is ongoing. Environmental impact assessment is in progress. PRPA is securing funding for this project. Further update may be available in early, 2026. *Federal funding for $60.6 million has been announced towards construction of the project.
