Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Beaver Meadows, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project includes the construction of a new recreation pavilion building located at 57 Church Street, Beaver Meadows, PA and other associated items as indicated on the contract drawings and project manual. The items of work for the Contractor are identified more specifically in the Contract Documents. Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. The entire project will be awarded to one (1) Contractor. A certified check or bank draft, payable to "Beaver Meadows Borough" or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable Surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. Prevailing Wages and Payroll Records. Contractor will be required to pay employees and keep records in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act (29 CFR Part 5) and/or the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (29 CFR part 201). Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and prevailing wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, ancestry, national origin, or handicap. Questions must be submitted 5/27/2022 11:00 AM. The Owner reserves the right, with or without notice or cause to accept any bid regardless of the amount thereof; to reject any bid or to waive any informalities in the bidding, any number of bids; to negotiate with any bidder for a reduction or alteration in its bid; to waive or insist upon formal requirements; to reject all bids and to call for additional bids upon the same or different invitation to bid, Plans and Specifications; to be the sole judge, in its discretion, of all questions as to whether or not a bid complies with the Invitation to Bid, the Plans or Specifications, and as to the qualifications of a bidder to perform the Contract. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 120 days from the date of opening bids.
