Site work and paving for a road / highway in Boyne Falls, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The primary project will involve reconstructing and widening U.S. 131 from Cherry Hill Road to Thumb Lake Road. The work will include creating a three-lane configuration -- one lane for traffic in each direction and a center left turn lane, the installation of curb and gutter and stormwater drain work. The project will also include moving the right turn lane for southbound U.S. 131 traffic turning onto M-75 slightly west to help improve sight lines for traffic approaching U.S. 131 from M-75. As of May 16, 2022, the project has been completed.
