The Bidder shall furnish Steam Heat, Chilled Water Cooling and Condenser Coils for the Cook County Department of Facilities Management, all in accordance with the Contract Documents, Specifications and Proposal herein. The contract is effective for three years, with two, one-year renewal options effective after award and proper execution of Contract Documents by the Cook County Chief Procurement Officer. Inquiries must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019. The Contractor shall provide a three-year manufacturer warranty on all coils. Contractor must contact Mike Roberts, Specifications Engineer III, at (773) 674-4010 at least 48 (forty-eight) hours before delivery. Time of delivery shall be between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except the following County holidays: Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Jr. and Washington's Birthday. No deliveries will be accepted after the time specified. Freight and delivery charges shall be included in Vendor's bid. The Bidder shall prepare one (1) copy of its Bid Proposal on the proposal forms within the Contract Documents and (1) Economic Disclosure Statement and Execution Documents ("EDS"), with original signatures. Unless otherwise stated, all blank spaces on the proposal forms shall be fully completed. Bidder bears all responsibility for error or omissions in the submission of the Bid Proposal. Bid Proposals and EDS which are not properly signed may be rejected. If the apparent lowest Bidder takes exceptions or deviations to the General Conditions, which are submitted with the Bid, the CPO shall reject the Bid as non-responsive in the event that the Chief Procurement Officer, in his or her sole opinion, determines such exceptions or deviations to be material. The Chief Procurement Officer shall notify the successful Bidder, in writing, of award of the Contract by the County within ninety (90) days from the Bid Opening date. Upon receipt of the Notice of Award, the Contractor shall promptly secure, execute and deliver to the Chief Procurement Officer any documents required herein. Compliance with MBE and WBE requirements will not diminish or supplant other legal Equal Employment Opportunity and Civil Rights requirements that relate to contractor and subcontractor obligations.
