Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Jonestown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total.The project includes, but is not limited to, demolition and removal of an existing culvert comprised of two 57" x 38" corrugated metal pipes and a concrete/gabion headwall; and replacement with an 81" x 59" polymer coated corrugated metal pipe culvert, including a gabion headwall and endwall. The scope of work also includes guiderail replacement, fence replacement, pavement restoration, stream bypass assembly, erosion and sediment pollution controls and other associated work. Prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply for bids in excess of $100,000. Union Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
