Site work and new construction of a day care center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Completed plans call for the construction of a 36,900-square-foot, one-story above grade day care center; and for site work for a day care center.
***As of October 22, 2020 project has been awarded with the amount of 7,622,459.76. SOLICITATION NO- APN: 139-25-405-012 & 139-25-405-011 Work of the Project includes: Development of a vacant lot into a newly constructed 18,450 SF one-story building fully sprinkled type V-B construction with two tenant spaces. Landscaping and site improvements are included in the project scope. Tenant space one is 14,800 SF Early Childhood Learning Center/Day Care of 10 classrooms to accommodate 20 children each for an overall total of up to 200 students ages two to five years old. Two classrooms will accommodate toddlers, students under 2.5 years old. Second tenant space is 3,650 SF Health Care Center. Perform Work of Contract under lump sum contract with Owner in accordance with Conditions of Contract. During the course of the Work and within the context of this Project and Contract, the Owner may provide authorized signatures to contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and manufacturers to act as the "Owners Agent" or similar authorization. These authorizations shall not establish a direct contractual relationship between the Owner and other parties, or relieve the Contractor of his responsibilities, or in any way modify the terms of this Contract. The term of such authorizations shall not extend beyond that required for the Work of this Contract. The Contractor is required to determine quantities based on their independent count and mathematics calculation of the information contained in the Contract Documents prior to bidding the Project. The Contractor's Contract Amount shall include all quantities required to provide the Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Should the quantities stated on the Drawings or in the Specifications conflict with the number of items, areas or volumes shown on the Drawings, the number of items, areas or volumes shown on the Drawings shall govern the amounts to provide. Should the quantities stated on the Drawings not otherwise be shown on the Drawings (such as for extra materials or additional items to provide, or items that will be field located, or items of such scale, quantity, or convenience that they are not drawn on the plans), the quantity stated shall be provided. This disclaimer includes, but is not limited to, quantities shown on the civil drawing (including grading quantities of cut, fill, import and export (including exports to BLM land fill if required), landscape planting and irrigation plans and schedules, and lighting fixture schedules. Access to Site: Is the date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. Time Restrictions for Performing Work: All Work shall be performed between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. except where specifically required otherwise within the Contract Documents or approved, in writing, by the Owner and governing authorities. Question Cutoff Date: 6/8/2020 08:00 PM (ET) If you choose to attend in person, please be aware that due to the City's COVID-19 response, City Hall is closed at the time of this posting, with an appointment and symptom screening required as a condition of entry; therefore, remote attendance via Cisco Webex or call-in is encouraged, in lieu of in-person attendance. An appointment for in-person attendance may be made with the Purchasing & Contracts Representative. The purpose of this conference is to discuss the specifications and any Prospective Bidder questions regarding the Bid Documents and bid process. Failure to attend will result in your bid being deemed non-responsive. Further, no protest will be considered should your firm fail to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. "Attend" shall mean at least one representative of the Bidder is present from beginning of this conference until its completion.
