Renovation of an educational facility in Cortland, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,000-square-foot educational facility.

The project consists of a roughly 6,000 square foot renovation to our Athletic Training Suite in combination with the Physical Education Departments equipment rental/storage space. Renovation includes a complete gut and rehabilitation of the two spaces to include new finishes, new networking closet and mechanical, electrical, plumbing upgrades. The estimated budget is $900,000. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders, completed Bid Bonds with Acknowledgement. A Bid Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women-owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are required to make a good faith effort to meet M/WBE goals as follows: 15% MBE 15% WBE and 10% minority workforce and 10% female workforce. Pursuant to New York State Executive Law Article 17-B, SUNY recognizes its obligation under the law to promote meaningful participation in public procurement by Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs). It is the policy of the State of New York and State University of New York to encourage Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors. All bidders are required to make a good faith effort to meet a 6% SDVOB goal Due to COVID-19 restrictions, bidding and contract documents will not be able to be viewed at the SUNY Cortland campus.
