Renovation of a municipal facility in Seatac, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Work includes providing labor, equipment and materials, needed for a complete installation (electrical, cabling, and door hardware) of an Access Control System (ACS) to fourteen (14) perimeter doors at three (3) Port of Seattle field office locations near the SeaTac Airport. Installation at each site will include the required ACS, one security camera, one UPS replacement, varying network connections, and required door hardware. The ACS system components will support the following: (1) Johnson Controls P2000 Access Control System (2) Genetec Security Center Video Management System The Engineer estimate range for this project is $130,000.00 - $160,000. Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. On contracts of one hundred fifty thousand dollars or less, at the option of the contractor or the general contractor/construction manager as defined in RCW 39.10.210, the respective public entity may, in lieu of the bond, retain ten percent of the contract amount for a period of thirty days after date of final acceptance, or until receipt of all necessary releases from the department of revenue, the employment security department, and the department of labor and industries and settlement of any liens filed under chapter 60.28 RCW, whichever is later. The recovery of unpaid wages and benefits must be the first priority for any actions filed against retainage held by a state agency or authorized local government. Time limit for substantial completion of the work is 120 calendar days. The Port reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in its best interest and pursuant to the terms of the General Conditions. Contract time extends from Award of the contract through Contract Completion as defined in the General Conditions.
