The work of this 120 calendar day project consists, in general, of furnishing all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services and supervision required to rehabilitate Lift Station No.2, including, but not limited to: removal of existing pumps, piping, electrical control system and others as required; furnishing and installing new pumps, piping, electrical control system; and performing all associated work, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. A California Class A contractor's license is required to bid this Contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded any contract for the project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5, with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a). This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. This contract is subject to prevailing wage provisions, as specified in Document 00100, Invitation to Bid, and Document 00200, Instructions to Bidders, of the Project Manual.
