Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Humble, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Northpark Drive expansion will grow the thoroughfare from a four-lane road to a six-lane road between Hwy. 59 and Woodland Hills Drive. The expansion features a bridge over the Loop 494 railroad tracks with a service road on both sides that provide access to businesses. The TIRZ estimates it will cost $37.3 million for Phase II, which will cover Northpark Drive from Russel Palmer Road to Woodland Hills Drive. Prices on the project may vary based on a variety of factors. The TIRZ will also have to fund design and engineering costs. As of September 7 2021, this project is currently in the FY 2022-2026 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2023.
