CONTRACTOR registration in accordance with Title 2.2, Chapter 43 and Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia is required. The Project or Work consists of furnishing, installing and testing approximately 2,990 linear feet of 24-inch HDPE force main and 530 linear feet of 16-inch HDPE force main along Canal Drive between Shell Road and South Military Highway in Chesapeake, Virginia. The project also includes two trenchless crossings of South Military Highway and a trenchless crossing of a Norfolk Southern Railroad track. A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid. Bidders shall comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 (Prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex or national origin), No. 12138, and No. 11625 - (Regarding MBE/WBE utilization). Bidders shall also comply with the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
