A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Project consists of rehabilitating or replacing approximately 8,250 LF of 8, 12, 15 and 18 sanitary sewer and appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The project will be funded through the Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (VCWRLF) Program. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders must comply with the following: the Presidents Executive Order # 11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex or national origin; the Presidents Executive Orders # 12138 and 11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms; the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Davis-Bacon Act; American Iron and Steel provisions contained in Subpart J of the VCWRLF Contract Inserts, and MBE/WBE provisions contained in Subpart C. Bidders must certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $50.00 including shipping via overnight express service. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Offices receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $200.00 per set, payable to Mattern & Craig plus a non-refundable shipping charge. Upon Issuing Offices receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidders delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
