In an effort to conserve paper, plastic, and packing materials, the Owner requests that each hard copy be submitted bound only by a staple or some other simple mechanical binding system. Three-ring notebooks should not be used. General Contractors are the only contractors required to prequalify to bid for this Project. Subcontractors are not required to prequalify. The work may include, but is not limited to: Site grading and utility work; Construction of a classroom building addition; Main entry frame and door installations and modifications; Interior vestibule frame and door installations and modifications; Main office renovations; Restroom relocations; Lighting installations and modifications; Security installations and modifications; Communications and Data installations; Lobby area renovations; Fire Alarm system installations and modifications; Fire Sprinkler system installations and modifications; Electrical installations and modifications Interior Storefront installations and modifications; Door Hardware installations and modifications; Security System installation and modification; Glass and Glazing installations and modifications; Flooring installations and modifications; Hazardous Materials Abatement; and Ceiling installations and modifications. 3. The work will significantly impact the operation of the school; therefore, portions of the work must be completed during the Summer Break of 2021. 4. Construction is anticipated to begin in late-Fall 2020. 5. Substantial Completion is anticipated to be no later than the first week July 2021 Contractors will be prequalified without regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, or disability
