Construction of Water, Sanitary, Drainage, and Paving Facilities for Avex Sec. 2 for Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 465, Harris County, Texas. Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: approximately 4,630 LF of sanitary sewer, 4,015 LF of water line, 3,035 LF of storm sewer, 5,400 SY of 7-inch reinforced concrete pavement, 415 SY of asphalt pavement, and 6,380 SY of 6-inch reinforced concrete pavement. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashiers check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
