The First Colony Trail Project will include 10-foot wide trail connections from Lexington Boulevard and Austin Parkway with a two-span pedestrian bridge spanning 'Ditch C' to the existing Woodstream Trail, as well as a below-grade crossing and pedestrian bridge at Sweetwater Blvd. There are two additional pedestrian bridges located near First Colony Middle School and at Mesquite Park. The existing concrete sidewalk along Sweetwater Boulevard between 'Ditch C' and Austin Parkway will be removed and replaced with a 10' wide concrete sidewalk.
