Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Montgomery, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a recreation facility; and playground / park / athletic field.
The project includes new construction of a whitewater rafting adventure park to be located off Maxwell Boulevard, sandwiched between Interstate 65 and Maxwell Air Force Base along the Alabama River. As of July 27, 2021, construction is underway. Site work began on June 29, 2021. Demolition, Sitework, Pumphouse Structure and Whitewater Course packages have been awarded. Remaining packages are on the street for bids due 8, 26, 2021. An architect and general contractor have been selected. The project is estimated grand opening of Summer 2023.*
