As of January 21, 2022, the project was awarded to Idaho Materials & Construction. Bid amount received is $2,153,619.60. accordance with the plans and specifications, this work shall consist of installing a new bikeway corridor on 11th Street between State Street and Heron Street. Project includes road maintenance; wayfinding/ bikeway signage; installing three (3) Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) at 11th Street and Fort Street, 11th Street and Hays Street, and 12th Street and Hays Street; curb, gutter, sidewalks; and pedestrian ramps. The bridge and irrigation work to be performed under this contract shall be completed on or before March 15, 2022. The remainder of the work shall be completed in its entirety on or before August 15, 2022. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about February 9, 2022. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $3,000.00 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. All questions or clarifications must be submitted by noon on the Monday prior to the Bid Opening.
