Site work and paving for a civil project in Greer, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; water / sewer project; and road / highway.
As of June 30, 2022, project was awarded to Dane Construction but awarded amount is not available. Spartanburg County is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of the Kist Road Bridge Replacement Project. At a minimum this work shall include the removal of the existing bridge and asphalt road approaches, clearing and grubbing, cut and fill earthwork, drainage, sediment and erosion control, grass, poured in place concrete, steel piles. Acquire, lift, and set prestressed concrete box beams and concrete barriers for the construction of a new 33' wide by 100' long precast concrete bridge for the Kist Road Bridge over Abners Creek. All materials and testing shall meet Spartanburg County specifications or SCDOT Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, latest edition. . The County reserves the right to evaluate in its absolute discretion the information submitted.
