The work under this solicitation shall include furnishing all labor and materials necessary to completely remove and rebuild the Sallisaw-Akins-Liberty portion of the Van Buren to Weleetka 161kV transmission line. The Contractor shall remove all structures, conductor, shield wire, grounding and all other items associated with this line except the existing OPGW and rebuild the line with all new materials. The total length of the rebuild is approximately 13.09 miles. The existing line is predominantly of wood pole, H-frame construction with 556.5 kcmil ACSR conductor. The new line shall consist of predominantly H-frame construction utilizing galvanized steel structures. The new phase conductor shall be 1192.5 kcmil, Grackle conductor. New OPGW will be installed end to end in addition to the transfer of existing OPGW which will be located in the structure position opposite of the new OPGW cable. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237130 and the small business size standard is $36.5 M. The magnitude for this project is estimated between $5 Million and $10 Million. System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required in order to be eligible for contract Award.
