Renovation of a water / sewer project in Wentzville, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Wentzville is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for Elevated Water Storage Tank #1 Painting project, which consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment needed for the surface preparation and painting of the exterior of a 1,000,000 gallon elevated spheroid water tank and other associated work in accordance with the plans and specifications. A non-mandatory project site open house will be held at 10:00 am on October 6, 2020. The access drive to the elevated water storage tank is located off of the main entrance to the SSM Health Facilities on Wentzville Parkway. All contractors interested in visiting the site should use this time to do so. The City will not entertain separate site visit requests from individual contractors. Bidders are required to complete a free registration in order to view the bid documents. Bidders are required to submit their bid electronically through this E-bidding system. The 1,000,000 gallon steel single pedestal spheroid elevated water storage tank is located at 700 Medical Drive in Wentzville, Missouri. The tank is of welded steel construction. According to information on the tank nameplate, the tank was erected by Chicago Bridge & Iron Na-Con, Inc. in 1996.
