Demolition, site work and environmental remediation for a municipal facility in Easton, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The City of Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, is accepting proposals to identify a qualified construction contractor to perform certain services for the City involving site demolition and soil remediation of the proposed site of the Mill at Easton Mixed Use Development Project located at 620 Coal Street in the City of Easton, PA. Questions must be submitted on or before 10/28/2019 5:00 PM The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. Work will commence approximately 11/15/19 and must be completed by end of March 2020 The scope of work for Unit #2 includes the completion of three remedial excavations (APEC-1, APEC-2, and APEC-8). Details about the size and location of each remedial excavation area are presented in Exhibit F of the RFP. Moonstone will mobilize one Field Manager-level personnel to the Site during any remedial excavation work. The Field Manager will oversee the completion of the remedial excavations to ensure that the appropriate vertical and horizontal extents are achieved All bids are rejected. We have rejected all bids and will be re-bidding with an adjusted scope next week.
