The City's 2019 Sanitary Sewer Sliplining Project will consist of the following: 4,488 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary line 1,251 linear feet of 10-inch sanitary line 814 linear feet of 12-inch sanitary line Approximately 94 laterals The City intends to award this contract at the November 18th, 2019 Council Meeting. Construction is to begin in November of 2019, and be completed prior to March 31st, 2020 (pending poor weather conditions). The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. This is a prevailing wage project. All items shall be quoted F.O.B. Tipp City, Ohio. All bids shall be signed and include a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract with the City. A Bid Guaranty Bond shall be submitted in the amount of 100% of the bid amount or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank. The amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the bid must be submitted, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. All bidders shall include a copy of the bidder's Workers Compensation Certificate and Certificate of Liability Insurance. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the day of the Bid opening, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid Security prior to the end of this period. The City of Tipp City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids, and to accept any bid which is deemed by the City to be in their best interest.
