The City of Lewisville is seeking to hire an individual firm or team to provide exceptional hike and bike trail design for a segment of the Timber Creek Trail in Lewisville, Texas. Specifically, the City is seeking firms with experience in successfully designing hike and bike trails in greenbelts, watersheds and properties frequently inundated with storm water as the segment of trail to be designed will be located along Timber Creek east of Central Park to the IH-35 Corridor. The trail will connect with the existing Timber Creek Trail which runs from the westmost boundary of Lewisville to Central Park. The segment of trail to be designed is identified in the Lewisville Hike and Bike Trail Master Plan as a priority segments (E and F) and is a key component to meeting goals established in the Lewisville 2025 Big Move - Extending the Green.
