As of January 27, 2022, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is expected to start in fall 2022. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Pitt County is soliciting proposals from select firms (Consultants) to provide architectural services for a new Sheriff Administration Building to house the Pitt County Sheriff's Office. The building will be located at the southeast intersection of New Hope Road and North Greene Street in Greenville, NC. The Sheriff currently conducts most business mainly through 4 different locations spread throughout the County.
