Mixed contract (design-build) for construction work and professional services for the reconstruction project of the Île d'Orléans bridge, between Québec City and Île d'Orléans, Québec City, Québec metropolitan community, Montmorency provincial electoral division (CEP), administrative region of the Capitale Nationale and the municipality of Saint-Pierre-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Île d'Orléans Regional County Municipality, CEP de Charlevoix-Côte-de-Beaupré, administrative region of the Capital Nationale (Direction des grands projets de la région métropolitaine de Québec). TIMELINE: Contract for Design/Build Services has been awarded to Groupe Héritage Île-d’Orléans (GHIO) consisting of Dragados Canada and EBC. One of three lanes of Route 138 (Sainte-Anne Boulevard) between Côte de l'Église and the bridge over the Montmorency River has closed, effective May 2, 2025, until the new bridge is scheduled to open in 2028.
