Renovation of a municipal facility in Dover, Delaware. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of June 29, 2022, this solicitation was cancelled. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Legislative Hall is the state capitol building of Delaware, and it is located at 411 Legislative Avenue, Dover, DE 19901. It houses the chambers and offices of the Delaware General Assembly. The core of the building contains a lower floor that is below ground level. This lower level has experienceed groundwater infiltration. Spot repairs have been made, but a complete system to halt the water infiltration is desired. The anticipated professional services for this project include, but are not limited to, investigation ofthe source ofthe water infiltration, design of a waterproofing system for the entire lower level, design of a method to divert water away from the building to a remote discharge point, an analysis of possible design alternatives, cost and schedule estimates for the proposed alternatives, and repair recommendations. Scheduling of the actual construction work, including allowable work days and hours, will be a critical element in this project. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
