Renovation of a mixed-use development in North Wildwood, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,978-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; and municipal facility.

**As of April 08, 2021, the project has been awarded but award amount was not confirmed and also the construction start date and completion date.** All bids must be accompanied by bid security. The bid security shall be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond executed by the principal and surety company attorney in fact and witnessed and attested to with the power of attorney attached, in the amount of 10% of the amount of the bid but not to exceed $20,000.00 and made payable to the 'City of North Wildwood'. The successful Bidder will be required, upon final payment, to furnish a two-year General Maintenance Bond acceptable to the City of North Wildwood, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. Should the successful Bidder to which this Contract is awarded fail to comply with the above provisions as to the submission of the required bonds, fully execute or to execute the Contract within the time required herein, the Owner may at their sole discretion, declare the successful Bidder in default, and shall be entitled to retain the bid security. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of New Jersey P.L. 1975, C.127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27), Public Works Contractor Registration Act (PWCRA) P.L. 1999, C.238-NJ.S.A. 34: IN 56,48 et seq, Affirmative Action; P.L. 1963, C.150, Prevailing Wage Act; P,L. 1975 C.33, Disclosure of Interests, as amended and supplemented, and P.L. 2004, c,57 concerning Business Registration of Public Contractors Work under this contract shall include furnishing all labor, equipment and materials required to complete selective demolition of the existing building structure and to construct the building improvements as shown and as detailed in the contract documents. The contract includes a base bid plus four (4) deduct alternates. Under the statutes of the State of New Jersey, the Contractor will be required to pay prevailing wages for each classification of labor including appropriate fringe benefits. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of Executive Order 11246 of September 24,1965, and all of the rules, regulations, and relevant orders of the Secretary of Labor. Base Bid: remove all interior finishes down to the wood framing, sound stucco, or masonry; remove all windows and doors; remove mansard roof system; remove sloped roof system above old flat roof; remove exterior decks and ramps; construct new interior and exterior finishes; new windows and doors; new metal roof system; new mechanical, plumbing and electric systems. Deduct Alternate I: fiberglass asphalt shingle roofing (except cupolas and pent roof). Deduct Alternate 2: cedar impression siding. Deduct Alternate 3: preservative treated framing instead of Greenheart. Deduct Alternate 4: non-impact rated windows and exterior doors. The City of North Wildwood reserves the right to reject any bid pursuant to law and all bids may be rejected pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 Each proposal or bid must be submitted in accordance with the terms of the aforesaid specifications and must be made on standard proposal forms contained in the specifications. It must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the project name and the name and address of the Bidder and be delivered at the place on the hour above named Within the men's locker room showers: remove all wall and ceiling interior finishes down to the wood framing, sound stucco, or masonry; remove all fixtures and store for reinstallation; remove floor tile to floor sheathing and replace sheathing as directed by the Engineer; renovate showers and reinstall fixtures. Within the public restrooms: the contractor shall remediate all surface mold and then thoroughly clean all surfaces; after cleaning all walls and ceilings shall be painted with mold and mildew resistant paint.
