Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Exeter, New Hampshire. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of June 12, 2025, an engineer has been selected. Design is in progress and is expected to be completed late winter 2025. Construction is anticipated to start in summer 2026. This project is included in the Town of Exeter's FY 2024-2029 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Engineer firm information has not been determined. This project includes Garfield St, Kossuth St, School St, and Union St (including former Garfield Ct) where water, sewer, drainage, roads, and sidewalks have all been identified as deficient. The water mains in this area are 4-inch and 6-inch cast iron (CI) which have insufficient capacity for fire flows which were identified in the 2015 asset management plan as being a high priority. The sewer mains are 8-inch and 10-inch vitrified clay pipe (VCP) in poor condition and/or undersized. The drainage system has been identified as being in poor condition with the potential for flooding. The roads and sidewalks in this neighborhood are inadequate size and in poor condition. SRF loan pre-applications have been submitted for the project. If selected, ARPA funds may be available. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
