Site work and paving for a civil project in Centre Hastings, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This Request for Tenders is issued by the Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the "County") for the provision of replacement of the Deer River Hatchery bridge. The following is a brief description of the work, but not limited to: - Establish traffic control and detour to accommodate full road closure; - Remove existing two-span, single lane superstructure; - Remove reinforced concrete abutment and wingwalls; - Remove top portion of the centre reinforced concrete pier and install new concrete cap; - Install new concrete abutments and wingwalls; - Install a new single-span, single-lane permanent 'Bailey Style' modular bridge with steel decking having an anti-skid surface including code compliant barriers; - Install new concrete approach slabs; - Pave road approaches; and - Install new steel beam guiderail on approaches with appropriate end treatments.
