QUESTION DEADLINE: November 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM Intent to Bid Due Date: Dec 15th 2021, 2:00 PM EST The project consists of one contract for construction of Wastewater Treatment Facility No.2 (WWTF No.2) Expansion from 2.0 MGD to 4.0 MGD for the following major components: 1. Headworks - grit removal, screen equipment, and odor control 2. Flow equalization tanks with aeration and mixing equipment and flow equalization pumping system 3. AWT biological treatment process using MBR, including anaerobic basins, pre-anoxic basins, aerobic basins, post-anoxic basins and MBR basins 4. Chlorine contact chambers 5. Reclaimed water transfer and high service pumps 6. Sludge holding tanks and associated aeration and mixing system and pumping equipment 7. Chemical feed systems including alum, Micro-C, sodium hypochlorite, and other chemical storage and feed systems 8. Any other components associated with the complete expansion of the WWTF No.2 that are indicated in the contract documents (plans and specifications) C. Kubota will furnish the WWTF No.2 expansion treatment process equipment and materials as indicated in the contract documents (plans and specifications) and the General Contractor shall be responsible for the installation and startup of this equipment. The General Contractor shall be responsible to furnish and install all other WWTF No.2 expansion equipment and materials shown on the contract documents. D. Omission of a specific item or component part of a system obviously necessary for the proper functioning of the system shall not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility of furnishing the item as part of the work at no additional cost to the City. E. The Contractor shall perform the Work complete, in place, and ready for continuous service, and shall include repairs, testing, permits, cleanup, replacements and restoration required as a result of damages caused during this construction. F. The Contractor shall comply with all Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations which are applicable to this Project.
